What does frogging mean in cross stitch?

Frogging is a term that refers to when a stitcher has to rip out stitches that are not correct. The term is derived from 'ripping' the stitches to the sound a frog makes 'ribbit' or 'rip it', 'rip it'. Frogging is the bain of all stitchers but sometimes the only way one can correct the mistake is rip out the erroneous stitches and start anew.
