Regency Taupe Opaque and Rhinestone Brooch and Earring Set

This beautiful vintage Regency brooch and earring set is in gold toned metal and with taupe and amber color AB and rhinestones that showcase the amber opaque stones.  The brooch is marked "Regency" and measures 1.5" x 1.5" at its longest and widest measurements.  The clip-on earrings measure 1" in length.  The stones are clear and beautiful and the metal has minimum wear.

Florenza's Bird Brooch is featured in "Collecting Costume Jewelry 101" by Julia Carroll (p.177) and is a sought-after collectible.  The bird brooch measures 3.5" H x 1.25" W and features beautiful dark blue rhinestonesxin the body accentuated by clear rhinestones.  The eyes are set in turquoise-coloredstones with a blue enamel beak.  The ridge on the beak has slight wear to the enamel but does not distract from this piece.  The gold toned metal is in good shape and the back of the brooch is signed "Florenza".
